  • Duke University School of Law 210 Science Drive Durham, NC, 27708 United States (map)

Summary

Adam Moskowitz, Managing Partner of The Moskowitz Law Firm, will be taking part in the Bolch Judicial Institute at Duke Law School’s Multidistrict Litigation Panel Certificate Program, which will be held virtually on November 7-8, 2022.

Established in 2019 by the late Duke Law Professor Francis McGovern, the Mass Tort MDL Certificate is designed to expand and diversify the field of attorneys capable of handling mass tort and multidistrict litigation. The course faculty includes leading judges, practitioners, and professors in the field of complex litigation, affording participants a unique opportunity to gain practical insight from key players into the lifecycle and management of mass torts. The course is comprehensive, balanced, and includes a breakout session by party, which enables participants to discuss sensitive issues and interact with preeminent practitioners from their side of the “v.”

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Mass Tort MDL Certificate from the Bolch Judicial Institute of Duke Law School. Completion of the Mass Tort MDL Certificate is a recommended prerequisite for attending the Advanced MDL Certificate, which will be offered at Duke Law in spring 2023 in conjunction with the McGovern Symposium. No academic credit is provided for these programs. See below for details on pricing.

CLE Information: The Institute will submit CLE credit on behalf of attorneys in North Carolina. Out-of-state participants will receive a “Certificate of Attendance” and a completed “Uniform Application for Accreditation.” (Total hours to be updated soon.)

Chatham House Rule: To encourage frank discussions, the conference is held under the Chatham House Rule: “When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.”
